Who we are
Habakkuk Float is provided by Habakkuk Designs, Cape Town, South Africa. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
Your account
You are responsible for the people you invite to your workspace and for keeping your password safe. You must give accurate business details, because they appear on documents you send.
Subscriptions and billing
Plans are billed monthly in advance through Paystack. South African customers pay R499 (Professional) or R899 (Business) per month. International prices are the exact US dollar equivalent of those amounts at the live exchange rate, so they change slightly with the rate; US dollar subscriptions are charged to your saved card each month at that day's equivalent. The checkout page always shows the exact currency and amount before you pay. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires it.
Free trial
New workspaces get 1 day (24 hours) free. As soon as the trial ends, creating new invoices, quotations and other records is paused until you subscribe to a plan. You can still view and download everything you have already created.
Your data
Your invoices, customers and financial records belong to you. We store them securely and only use them to provide the service. You can download your documents at any time.
Tax and financial figures
Float calculates tax and reports from the information you enter. You remain responsible for the correctness of your invoices and tax returns. Forecasts are estimates and are labelled as such. Float is not a substitute for advice from a registered accountant or tax practitioner.
Acceptable use
Do not use Float to send fraudulent documents, to impersonate another business, or to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.
Liability
We work hard to keep Float available and accurate, but the service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before a claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will tell you about significant changes by email or in the app before they take effect.
