Our commitment
Habakkuk Designs processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
Account details (name, email, password hash), your business details, and the records you create in Float — customers, invoices, quotations, payments, expenses and uploaded documents.
Why we use it
Only to run Float for you: to produce documents, calculate figures, send emails you ask us to send, collect your subscription and keep the service secure.
Who we share it with
Service providers who help us run Float: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Paystack (subscription payments) and, if enabled, Brevo (email delivery). We never sell your information.
Separation and security
Every business's records are isolated at the database level, so one company can never see another's data. Files are stored privately and opened through short-lived secure links. Payment card details are handled by Paystack and never touch our servers.
Your customers' information
When you add customers to Float you are the responsible party for their information, and we process it on your behalf.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information. Email support@habakkukdesigns.co.za. Financial records may need to be kept for the period required by tax law.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your chosen company and currency. We do not use advertising cookies.
